Currently Anritsu does not but is working diligently to provide a solution.
The GPS coordinates delivered by the instruments are based on the WGS-84 methodology of determining position.
No, it is not possible to set more than 5 segmented limit lines on the MS2711D however we have other Handheld Spectrum Analyzers in which a limit line can consist of up to 40 segments. The model numbers are MS2721B, MS2723B, and MS2724B.
The available detection methods are Peak, RMS, Negative, Sample and Quasi-peak.
The MS2719B has 551 data points and they are not variable. Variable data points are only useful in sample detection, so we have not added this capability.
The MS272xB, MS271xB and MT8222A have three traces available. The best way to see the maximum and minimum simultaneously is to set Trace A to Normal, Trace B to Max Hold and Trace C to Min Hold.
The field strength measurement algorithm in the MS272xB, MS271xB, MT8222A, MS2711D and S332D takes the antenna factor of the selected antenna into account to calculate field strength. This causes the increase you see over the bandwidth of the antenna. Measurements of field strength are only valid in that region since the performance of the antenna outside of its specified bandwidth isn't known.
An Absolute limit line is one that, when recalled from memory, returns to the frequency at which it was created. A Relative limit line, when recalled, is automatically centered on the spectrum analyzer's current center frequency. If your measurements are always at one frequency than using Absolute limit lines is sensible. If you make measurements at many different frequencies then Relative limit lines make your job easier because when you create a limit line (also called emission mask) once, you can use it at any desired frequency without having to recreate it each time.
The MS272xB, MS271xB, MS2711D, MT8222A and MS20x6A are equipped with a broadband detector that is designed to sense signal levels at the input to the first mixer that may cause inaccurate measurements due to saturation. Most competitive instruments don't have a method to deliver such a warning and allow the user to take measurements that likely are inaccurate. These inaccuracies can include lower amplitude values and the generation of signal harmonics due to mixer saturation.
There are two adjustments you can make: trigger amplitude and trigger position (horizontal). To adjust trigger amplitude first select video triggering | Shift | Sweep | Trigger Type | Video | then adjust the trigger position by either directly entering the trigger amplitude in dBm, rotating the knob to change the position of the red horizontal trigger point indicator, using the up and down buttons to change the amplitude in 10 dB steps or using the left and right arrows to make changes in 1 dB steps. Adjust the horizontal position of the trigger point by pressing | Shift | Sweep | Trigger Type | Change Trigger Position | and turning the knob. Pressing any directional buttons to change the trigger position by 0.1% per click. Zero percent is the left edge of the screen and 100% is the right edge of the screen
Recent firmware has added a soft key in the Limit Edit menu labeled "Add Vertical". This button inserts two inflection points onto the limit line to the right of the active inflection point. These two new points are a pair that always are at the same frequency but different amplitudes. If you move the frequency of one of the points, the other moves with it.
In addition to setting all setting back to the factory default values, Master Reset also erases all saved measurements, setup files, and JPG files leaving the user directory empty. It also reboots the instrument to factory default settings.
You can use 1 MHz, 1.2288 MHz, 1.544 MHz, 2.048 MHz, 2.4576 MHz, 4.8 MHz, 4.9152 MHz, 5 MHz, 9.8304 MHz, 10 MHz, 13 MHz and 19.6608 MHz within the amplitude range of –10 dBm to +10 dBm
Some parameter or other setting probably has become set to a wrong value. The easiest way to fix this is to reset the instrument to factory default settings. Do this by turning off the instrument, then hold down the Esc and press the On/Off button. Hold down the Esc button for a few seconds after releasing the power button. All the parameters are set to factory default values. No saved measurements, settings, or limit lines are erased by doing this. This same result can be achieved by pressing | Shift | System | System Options | Reset | Factory Defaults |.
The MS272xB, MS271xB and MT8222A have a broadband detector before the first mixer. If the overall signal environment contains enough signal power to cause the mixer to compress the output signal, the mixer is "saturated". The fix is to reduce the amplitude of signals hitting the mixer by one or more of three approaches. If the signal is in-band, or is the signal you want to measure, turn off the preamplifier as a first step. If that doesn't reduce the amplitude enough, start adding input attenuation until the problem is resolved. If the signal is out-of-band, those two methods will work but a better way may be to insert a bandpass filter into the signal path to reduce the amplitude of out-of-band signals since that will preserve in-band sensitivity.
The steps below detail copying a file from internal memory to an external flash drive.
NOTE:
Select the files to copy in the top window and the location for the files to be copied to in the bottom window.
Insert a USB drive into either USB Type A port of the Site Master.
From the File main (shift/file (#7 key)) menu, press the “Copy (soft key)” submenu key. The Copy submenu and Copy dialog box are displayed (picture below).
Select the file(s) to copy. To select multiple files, highlight the first then press the “Select or De-Select” key to keep the file selected. NOTE: (Press again to de-select if you choose not to copy the file.) The file will be outlined in blue. Repeat with all the files to copy. To display files in a folder, select the folder and press the Enter key.
Press the Scroll key and highlight the USB drive and press “select or de-select” soft key in the lower window using the touch screen or the Up/Down arrow keys or Thumb Wheel. NOTE: The Scroll submenu key toggles between Src (top window) and Dst (bottom window). Basically, the top window (src) is where you copy from and the bottom (dst) is where those files are going to.
Press the Copy key to copy the files to the flash drive.
NOTE: If you want to check and see if those files have been copied, simply press the Scroll soft key (to get to your Src or source box), use your Up/Down arrows or Thumb Wheel to get to your USB Drive and press “Enter”.

Yes, in the "Limit Move" menu there is a soft key labeled "Move Limit to Current Center Frequency". Press this soft key to move either Absolute or Relative limit lines to the current center frequency.
