Is it possible to change the firmware from 6.00 to 5.10 on the MT8860B?
Yes, it is possible to re-install 5.10. Once the files have been downloaded, the procedure is as follows: 1. Use LANLook 6.00 to perform the download operation. 2. Follow the instructions in the bootload pdf document. 3. Remove LANLook 6.00 and re-install LANLook 5.01. Please be advised that re-installing a firmware version earlier than 6.00 shall result in the IQ calibration data being overwritten. When fimware version 6.00 (or later) is re-installed the ISM band receiver calibration procedure will have to be repeated, otherwise the DSSS EVM filter selection will not be possible.
