Why is the dynamic range of the MW9076D1 so small?

In order to measure chromatic dispersion, the optics have to be very precise. The pulse delay method requires one to know the exact wavelength they are sending out to compare with other precise wavelengths to measure CD. Therefore, a narrow output spectrum is needed and thus limits the Dynamic Range of the MW9076D1.
