Does the MP1570A support measurements in protection switching at the lower order rate of 2Mb/s which is "SNC" protection switching?
The abbreviation of "SNC" is SubNetwork Connection. Probably, SNC protection switching is provided by K3/K4 bytes in the POH. This is protection APS protocol for High/Low order path. It is specified in the ITU-T G.841 and similar to K1/K2 protocol. The MP1570A supports HEX monitor of K3/K4 bytes.
