Vienna, Austria – 4 March 2026 – ANRITSU CORPORATION announces a joint demonstration with LIG Accuver at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026, to be held in Barcelona, Spain, from March 2 to 5, 2026, where the two companies are also signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further strengthen our collaboration. Innowireless participates in MWC this year under its new corporate name, LIG Accuver.
The demonstration is showcased at the LIG Accuver booth (Hall 5 5J50) and features an integrated test setup combining the LIG Accuver XCAT-SPACE NTN Channel Emulator with Anritsu’s NTN signaling test environment: Rapid Test Designer (RTD) and Signalling Tester MD8430A (NTN NB-IoT Capable).
This combined solution enables realistic and highly controlled testing of device behavior in non-terrestrial network (NTN) environments. It also supports testing conditions such as multi-cell interference, complex fading, and CSI-related training scenarios.
Overview of the Demonstration
LIG Accuver Channel Emulator Features
LIG Accuver Channel Emulator XCAT-SPACE offers highly flexible and accurate channel reproduction capabilities, enabling the emulation of complex NTN radio environments.
-
Channel emulation based on the 3GPP NTN scenarios
-
Supports both LEO and GEO satellite communication environments
-
Satellite orbit mobility simulation
-
Supports handover testing between satellites
Anritsu’s NTN Test Solutions
Rapid Test Designer (RTD)
-
Provides scenario-based automated test sequences
-
Supports protocol testing for diverse use cases, including NTN
Signalling Tester MD8430A (NTN NB-IoT Capable)
-
Simulates NB-IoT satellite communication signaling
-
Supports NTN-specific delay and propagation characteristics
Value of Collaboration
By synchronizing LIG Accuver’s Channel Emulator with Anritsu’s signaling testers, the solution enables a highly realistic test environment that captures key NTN propagation characteristics—such as long delays and unique fading profiles—while maintaining precision control over RF conditions.
This collaboration greatly enhances testing capability in the following areas:
-
Evaluation of device performance under multi-cell interference
-
CSI (Channel State Information) training across diverse channel conditions
-
Comprehensive verification of device behavior across protocol layers
-
Enhanced flexibility for advanced RF routing and composite fading scenarios
The joint demonstration provides a significant step toward supporting next-generation wireless development, enabling device vendors and operators to accelerate validation and commercialization of NTN-capable products.
Future Outlook
Anritsu will continue to expand its portfolio of measurement solutions that support NTN deployment, and will further strengthen collaborations with industry partners to contribute to the evolution of advanced communication technologies.
