NPL and Anritsu are hosting the first UK RIS focussed workshop to demonstrate and discuss how RIS can help address future telecoms infrastructure needs. On show will be NPL’s patented Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS) technology which has successfully completed field trials on a live 5G base station at BT’s Adastral Park. Developed and built at NPL, this breakthrough innovation demonstrated powerful signal control capabilities, offering a scalable, energy-efficient solution to enhance 5G and enable future 6G networks.
