MT1100A Network Master FlexAll-in-one transport network testers supports testing from 1.5 Mbps to 100 Gbps - the newly enhanced MT1000A Network Master Pro and MT1000A Network Master Pro redefine the direction of future test platforms by bringing all your network test requirements to a portable device.

These instruments support OTN, MPLS-TP, Ethernet and Fibre Channel, as well as legacy networks, including PDH/DSn and SDH/SONET with new ehnancements that include support of CPRI/OBSAI and RFC 6349 TCP throughput testing, OTN multi-stage mapping for OTU3/4, MDIO analysis, and support of a Video Inspection Probe (VIP) along with several newly added key functions.

With these enhancements, the MT1000A and MT1100A bring unprecedented flexibility, accuracy, and versatility to testing high-speed networks designed for emerging high-bandwidth requirements. Both instruments now support all eight CPRI interface rates as well as testing CPRI over OTN and OBSAI. A new TCP throughput option was added to verify TCP network performance allowing the MT1000A and MT1100A to support the RFC 6349 benchmark standard.

Optical Transport Network (OTN)

OTN (Optical Transport Network) with the recent updates to the ITU-T G.709 standard is quickly becoming the preferred transport technology for telecom operators across many facets of their network. OTN encompasses many enhancements over the traditional SDH or SONET networks such as “optimized transport of legacy and future technologies” and “greater alarming and management of the network”, for these reasons alone it’s the natural progression path for telecom operators.
