This depends on your product and goal. There’s two types of calibration: Static
calibration
(sensitivity correction) and dynamic calibration (fine adjustment software). The
static calibration
follows a simple 3-step process using a so-called “master weight” or “master
product”. During this
type of calibration, no products are moving on the checkweigher.
Dynamic calibration, similarly, uses a master product but keeps it in motion. The
checkweigher
effectively passes the master product 10-times back and forth to re-calibrate
itself.
We make this process easy with our pre-installed wizard or guide that is available in
our software
and walks you through the calibration process step-by-step for all Anritsu
checkweighers.
