Annaka manufactures Japan`s first 500-watt broadcasting equipment for use at the Tokyo Central Radio Station, Atagoyama Transmitter Station No.2 Facility

Anritsu launches “The Food Processing Machinery Division”, dedicated to developing inspection and detection equipment for the food industry. The product line includes automatic combination checkweighers equipped with electronic measurement technology.

The Food Processing Division expands its capabilities to foreign object detection, with the addition of the first line of metal detectors, the K470 series, based on magnetic-sensing technology.

Anritsu opens its local branches in the US and the UK.

Anritsu starts a U.S. assembly program for select models.

Anritsu Infivis moves into a new state-of-the-art 60,000-square-foot facility in the Elk Grove Technology Park, the largest industrial park in the U.S, very close to O'Hare International Airport.
