How do I setup the MT8852A to use option 14 (headset profile testing)?
The easiest way to do this is to follow these steps: 1. Power on the unit. 2. Hit the Preset key to set the unit to factory defaults. 3. Select Script 3 for Null Packets mode. 4. Connect a null modem cable from the PC to the back the MT8852A. 5. Plug in the dongle that enables option 14 on the PC (This is assuming that you have already loaded the option 14 software on the PC). 6. On the unit, hit config, MT8852A, System Interface then select external HCI. 7. Use the PC software and start testing!
