What settings should be used to ensure that an Ethernet port does not transmit or otherwise affect a network that it is connected to?
In the Port Setting screen, set ARP Reply to "Not send" and ICMP Echo Reply to "Not send". For the 10M/100M module, ensure that there is no checkmark in the Collision On checkbox in the Collision screen. Be sure that the Transmit button in the menu bar is set to off. In the Ping screen, ensure that Ping is stopped. In the Protocol screen, ensure that all protocols are in the stopped condition.
