Is it possible to transmit at 10G PoS and receive 2.5G PoS within the same MD1230A?

Yes. Every interface modules works both independently and simultaneously. However, the 10G PoS interface obviously cannot be connected in a loop-back with a 2.5G PoS interface because of the different bit rates. The MD1230A cannot function as a MUX/DEMUX.
