Anritsu Company and Signal Microwave to Demonstrate Advanced Interconnect De-embedding Techniques at IMS 2023
VectorStar™ and ShockLine™ 4-port VNAs Integrated with Differential Probes to Conduct Advanced Signal Integrity Measurements on High-speed PCBs
Allen, TX – June 13, 2023 – Anritsu Company (IMS booth #547) announces that Signal Microwave, a leading provider of signal integrity/high-speed digital solutions, will be using the Anritsu VectorStar™ and ShockLine™ 4-port vector network analyzers (VNAs) as part of differential PCB probing and signal integrity measurement demonstrations. The demonstrations, which will highlight how to obtain superior measurement accuracy using advanced interconnect de-embedding techniques, will be conducted in the Signal Microwave IMS booth (#1747).
Featured in the demonstration will be the VectorStar MS4647B/MN4697C 70-GHz VNA and ShockLine MS46524B 43.5-GHz VNA with Signal Microwave’s DVT-FPPXX High-Fidelity 40 GHz - 70 GHz differential probes. Additionally, the Anritsu TRL/LRL Verification Board will be used as part of the demo to calibrate the VNA and de-embed the connectors and 4″ of the PCB trace from the measurement.
As shown by the IMS demonstration, this solution is ideal to verify that the passive signal structures on final product prototype PCBs, using emerging high-speed technologies, conform to the initial design and industry standards, before releasing the board for active testing. As an added benefit, the demonstration will showcase how the Anritsu/Signal Microwave solution verifies that PCB manufacturers can produce these high-speed boards in required volumes.
