Anritsu Company Field Master™ Pro to Validate PLL Frequency Synthesizer Technology at IMS 2023

Allen, TX – June 9, 2023 – Anritsu Company (IMS booth #547) announces its Field Master™ Pro MS2090A Handheld Spectrum Analyzer will be used by Z-Communications, Inc. (Z-COMM), a leader in Voltage-Controlled Oscillator (VCO) and Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) technology, to validate the performance of its Smart PLL Frequency Synthesizer. Z-COMM (IMS booth #757) selected the MS2090A due to its combination of compact size and high performance.

Using a best-in-class spectrum analyzer that is well-respected throughout the industry is critical for us to validate the performance of our Smart PLL frequency synthesizers. Z-COMM selected the MS2090A for IMS for more than the spectrum analyzer’s performance. The portability of the handheld solution, as well as its battery operation, ease-of-use, and large 10.1”, 1280x800 color touchscreen are beneficial. The features will make the Smart PLL performance clear to visitors of the Z-COMM IMS booth. 

The Smart PLL Frequency Synthesizer, which covers 45 MHz through 22.6 GHz, provides high performance in a compact, all metal package. Fully programmable through a Bluetooth interface or USB cable, users may adjust functions such as frequency, sweep mode, dwell time, step size, and power output. 

Engineers will see that the Smart PLL Frequency Synthesizer is a cost-effective, clean, simple frequency source. It can be used as an LO in a test bench for development of products in radar and satellite designs, as well as any application in which a simple source is needed.
