Indonesia BBPPT Establishes the First National 5G Regulatory Test Lab with Anritsu Testing Solutions

MT8000A, MT8821C, MG3710E, MS2850A from Anritsu Selected and Commissioned in Indonesia BBPPT as First National 5G Regulatory Test Lab for 5G UE (User Equipment) and gNodeB
Allen, TX – August 1, 2022 – Anritsu Pte Ltd is pleased to work with Indonesia Balai Besar Pengujian Perangkat Telekomunikasi (BBPPT), the national test lab that refers to regulations set by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Kominfo), to establish Indonesia’s first national 5G Regulatory Test Lab. This marks a new milestone for Indonesia in advancing to a new era of telecommunication, while BBPPT continues to serve an important role to ensure safety and quality assurance of communication devices in Indonesia by testing and verifying conformity of 5G equipment to Indonesia Regulatory requirements.
BBPPT has set up both 5G UE (User Equipment) testing capability and gNodeB testing capability. Anritsu 5G Radio Communication Test Station solutions (MT8000A and MT8821C) provide a stable and automated 5G NSA/SA (Non-standalone/Standalone) testing environment for 5G UE. A multi-functional Vector Signal Generator MG3710E and wide analysis bandwidth Signal Analyzer MS2850A enable BBPPT to test and verify gNodeB.
