Anritsu Corporation announces a collaboration with BWant Co., Ltd. (BWant) to verify the performance of beamforming systems used to measure phased array antennas. These tests adopt Anritsu ME7868A modular vector network analyzer (VNA) and are verified on BWant's MW6 OTA (Over-The-Air) chamber platform, which can be applied to the performance related tests for Low-Earth Orbit (LEO), base stations, mobile phones, Wi-Fi 6E and Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) antenna systems.
Anritsu's ME7868A is the world's first modular dual-port vector network analyzer (VNA) that consist of two MS46131A 1-port VNAs, and is available in 8/20/43.5 GHz frequency ranges and 2/5/25 meters in length. With supporting patented PhaseLyncTM synchronization technology, the ME7868A can separately perform full dual-port S-parameter measurements over a distance of 100 meters or more, which simplifies and improves the S-parameter measurement architecture. Its flexibility also simplify the configuration between DUT and ME7868A VNA port, reduce the Cable Loss and improve Dynamic range and measurement stability by eliminating the need for long cables.
