Anritsu Introduces USB3.1 Receiver Test Solution Supporting Latest Test Standards

New Dedicated Receiver Test Adapter and Software Combine with MP1800A to Create Single Solution to Ensure High-speed Interfaces are Compliant with USB3.1 Standards

Richardson, TX – October 31, 2016 – Anritsu Company introduces a USB3.1 Receiver Test Solution integrating its new USB3.1 Receiver Test Adapter G0373A with its Signal Quality Analyzer (SQA) MP1800A and dedicated high-speed serial data test software to support the latest USB3.1 Gen2 SuperSpeed+, 10 Gbit/s receiver test standards. The combination of the MP1800A, G0373A, and MX183000A software provides engineers with an all-in-one USB3.1 receiver test solution to ensure compatibility and compliance of their high-speed communications device and serial BUS interface designs.

Pairing the SQA MP1800A and G0373A generates signals required by USB3.1 receiver tests as well as BER measurements. The MX183000A software controls the MP1800A/G0373A measurement system to set and manage the receiver test signals and display the BER measurement results. All tests are implemented using optimized high-quality output waveforms that ensure highly reproducible results.

The solution supports USB3.1 Gen1 (5 Gbit/s) and Gen2 (10 Gbit/s) receiver Jitter Tolerance tests, and sends/receives Low Frequency Periodic Signaling (LFPS) and LFPS-based PWM (LBPM) Messaging signals to ensure the performance of USB interfaces. High-quality test signals, as well as functions for communicating with interfaces allow the Anritsu USB3.1 Receiver Test Solution to conduct highly accurate signal integrity tests, as well

A plug-in modular Bit Error Rate Tester (BERT), the SQA MP1800A supports measurement of multi-channel wideband interfaces up to 32 Gbit/s. Automated measurements can be performed when the Receiver Test Solution is integrated with compatible Granite River Labs USB3.1 receiver calibration and test automation software GRL-USB31-RXA. The result is faster, more efficient verification processes that can lower test costs and help improve time to market.
