I am using a ML2487A power meter. Trying to measure a pulsed signal with an amplitude of -20dB. I cannot get the meter to trigger on the pulse. Level mode is set to auto.
Triggering on pulsed signals can be difficult. Recommend setting the level to not be auto. In this case if the high peak of the pulse is -20dB try setting the level from auto to -25dB. You may need to adjust this higher or lower but it should trigger up to a -10dB level from the expected peak.
