Anritsu has some of the best machines on the market which helps us avoid problems by finding hard to detect contaminants like glass and stone with their x-ray detection machines. The better we can detect, the better we can avoid problems.

The technician did a fantastic job while in our plant. He conducted training with several people on all 3 shifts and was instrumental in getting the (5) Anritsu units operational on our most important Oreo producing line in the plant. Who should I direct our positive feedback to within Anritsu regarding the ease of interaction with your equipment. My techs commented on what a surprise it was to find the Anritsu equipment readily accessible for a quick change of parts and product setup with minimal downtime. I have never heard them speak so positively about a piece of equipment like that and wanted to pass it on.

I was going to install metal detectors but the Anritsu X-Ray System proved to be the most sensitive inspection system on the market. It can detect particles as small as 0.3mm in size. We also incorporate Anritsu's QuiCCA Quality software to monitor and record the live and historical operation of the Anritsu equipment with tracking and recording capabilities of every packages’ image in a 20-terabyte storage system.

The Anritsu (x-ray) equipment has been in our plant since 2008 and they have proven to be an integral part of our quality program mainly because of their reliability. When the system rejects a package everyone has confidence that the package has an issue to be handled. There has been minimal maintenance after all these years of service. Everyone within the manufacturing group including quality and maintenance are happy with the systems and are confident we are producing products free of any contaminants.

The Anritsu sales team was helpful and experienced, and the x-ray systems were easy to set up and program. We installed the Anritsu x-ray systems to work in tandem with our two existing metal detection systems to achieve improved quality assurance and food safety. Both x-ray detectors on each of the two lines are versatile enough to adapt from our smallest pack size of twelve ounces to our largest pack size of 11 pounds. We are well satisfied with the performance of these systems and the extra measure of food safety they provide.
