Preventative Maintenance

Preventive Maintenance for Product Inspection Equipment

Part of the Performance360 program, this service proactively checks your Anritsu equipment allowing it to run at peak performance with uninterrupted production.

Introduction

The Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program helps you get the most out of your Anritsu inspection equipment throughout its lifetime. A cross-trained Anritsu technician will visit your facility on a regular basis to verify equipment safety, recommended maintenance, and verification of CCP standards. The technician will provide a detailed equipment report listing any recommended actionable items.

How Preventive Maintenance Helps You

How Preventive Maintenance Helps You

Even with the most reliable inspection equipment in the industry, parts will wear out and line conditions can change. A PM program puts you in front of potential problems with the following benefits:

  • Reduce unplanned downtime
  • Ensure consistent, accurate performance
  • Avoid costly repairs
  • Extend equipment lifetime
  • Document system performance for your HACCP records
What’s Included with Preventive Maintenance Visits

What’s Included with Preventive Maintenance Visits

Our visit includes a suite of equipment health services for X-rays, Metal Detectors, and Checkweighers, including the following:

  • System health check, including recommended parts and maintenance items
  • Equipment calibration with system sticker
  • Safety inspection
  • Performance validation
  • Comprehensive documentation and reporting

Documentation

For each system inspected, we will provide the following documentation for your records. Note: Calibrations are effective one year from inspection date.

  • HACCP Validation Certificate

    HACCP Validation Certificate

    Validates performance and safety.

  • X-ray Emissions Report

    X-ray Emissions Report

(X-ray systems only) Keeps track of the radiation emitted from your X-ray and certifies that it does not exceed government set exposure limits.

Planning Your Preventive Maintenance Visit

You can help ensure that PM service visits have minimal impact on your production by following these simple steps.

Planning Your Preventive Maintenance Visit

1. Plan Downtime

Scheduled downtime (typically one hour) will be required for complete inspection. If downtime is not possible, limited testing will still be performed.

2. Scheduling

Ideally, we will schedule your visit 14-days in advance and confirm travel dates prior to sending technicians.

3. Plant Contact

Establish a point of contact within your plant when scheduling your visit.

4. Equipment Identification

Confirm equipment models and serial numbers prior to the scheduled inspection.
