Anritsu's statement with regard to WEEE, RoHS and REACH
WEEE – End of Life Product Management
The EU region “Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment directive” (WEEE) affects end-of-life recycling for all electrical and electronic equipment. Anritsu is fully committed to playing its part in the preservation of the environment, and embraces the WEEE Directive (Directive 2012/19/EU). Applicable products shipped by Anritsu starting August 2005 are marked with the WEEE symbol (commonly known as the 'Crossed-out Wheeled Bin').
For EU recycling of products placed on the market after August 13, 2005, please check your manual or contact your local Anritsu representative to arrange disposal in accordance with your initial contract and local law.

RoHS Compliance
Anritsu major product lines are considered industrial monitoring and control equipment (category 9) and are fully compliant with the current list of restricted substances of the EU RoHS directive of 2011/65/EU.
Furthermore, in anticipation of the upcoming 22 July 2021 of the new regulation for category 9, Directive 2015/863/EU, which expands the list of restricted chemicals from six to ten substances, Anritsu is working very closely with its suppliers for the reduction of phthalates DEHP, BBP, DBP and DIBP from its product ahead of the scheduled date.
REACH REGULATION (EC) No 1907/2006
Anritsu hereby certifies that to the best of its knowledge, and based on our suppliers’ information, parts and products produced by Anritsu do not contain any of the substances referenced in the current list of Substances of High Concern (SVHC)* in concentrations greater than 0.1% weight by weight on the date stated above, except for DEHP (Bis 2-ethylhexyl phthalate) found in flexible electrical cords in some of our products (those containing power cords, external cables, or other interconnect cables) and on articles where there is an exemption for EU RoHS.
*SVHCs are defined in Article 57 of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006.
