High Performance 1x4 Demultiplexer Supports Super FEC rates up to 48 Gb/s
The MP1812A is the industry leading 1x4 demultiplexer that produces 4 parallel data signals from a single data input signal of 48 Gb/s. Each of the 4 data output channels of this DEMUX unit is capable of outputting signals at a maximum of 12 Gb/s. Anritsu's both MP1764 series single channel or MP1776A 4-channel Error Detectors are best compliment to the MP1812A for analyzing the demultiplexed signals.
Q-factor measurement at any ultra-high data rate is now easier than ever with the MP1812A's high resolution threshold voltage of 0.001V. It also offers independent clock delay adjustment functions for the 48G clock input and the 4 divided clock outputs. This unique high-precision variable delay capability enables the error rate change of phase direction to be measured, and thus provides a "Bathtub Curve" with high accuracy. The MP1812A DEMUX unit can also conduct highly accurate evaluations of an optical circuit's quality and O/E devices used in optical systems.
The MP1812A features front panel keys, digital display and GPIB remote control for easy operation while its compact size saves on test lab space. The MP1812A is an integral part of the Anritsu's 48G BER Test System (ME7780A) which is perfect for accurate evaluation and verification of long-haul, extended long-haul and ultra-long-haul transmission systems, sub-systems, MUX/DEMUX devices and components beyond 40 Gb/s covering FEC, Non-FEC and Super FEC rates up to 48 Gb/s.
