Anritsu Corporation is pleased to announce that its LTE V2X PC5 Communications Software MX725000A now supports the Cohda Wireless Communications Module MK6C Evaluation Kit (EVK).
PC5*1 communications used in C-V2X*2 is one of key technologies to implement connected autonomous vehicles (CAV). It is essential in assuring safety by preventing traffic accidents. As a result, product development by automobile OEM makers and Tier-1 parts vendors requires many function and regression tests. Anritsu’s MX725000A software for functional evaluation of C-V2X PC5 communications offers a cost-effective solution for these requirements. Anritsu has added support for the Cohda Wireless MK6C EVK to the MX725000A as a reference module. Since the MK6C EVK is used widely in C-V2X development, more customers can now start cost-effective evaluation of V2V and V2I communications by using the MX725000A.
The LTE V2X PC5 Communications Software MX725000A is for evaluating PC5 communications functions and supports typical use cases defined by national ITS standards. The software operates interactively with C-V2X communications reference modules, GNSS simulators, and V2X emulator software.
Using commercially available C-V2X communications reference modules eliminates the prior need for expensive hardware emulators, helping configure a cost-effective test environment. In the past, development was time consuming due to the need of creating complex scenarios using programming language. With the MX725000A, the interactive GUI for selecting evaluation scenarios and checking the emulated vehicle on the map supports intuitive and easy-to-understand functional evaluation to improve the quality and shorten the development period.
The Cohda Wireless MK6C EVK is a C-V2X evaluation kit using the MDM9150 chipset, supporting cost-effective development of C-V2X applications and use cases.
