Noise and Vibration Suppression

The Anritsu Group does not operate any businesses that generate significant noise or vibration. Domestic manufacturing companies that have equipment that generates noise or vibration, such as mechanical presses, blowers, and compressors, also comply with legal and regulatory standards and take into consideration the needs of the local community.

Noise Suppression

The following sites are required to comply with the Noise Control Act and local ordinances. We have set voluntar management standards that are stricter than the law and regulations, and we carry out noise measurements at the site boundary every year to confirm that there are no problems.

  • Atsugi site, Hiratsuka site : Kanagawa Prefecture Ordinance on Preservation of Living Environment

In the Hiratsuka site, some of the site boundaries are adjacent to residential areas, so we are careful about the noise that is characteristic of metalworking. Although there are no processing facilities that generate loud noise or vibration, we have installed noisy equipment in individual rooms and taken measures to reduce the noise from exhaust vents.

  • Tohoku site : Fukushima Prefecture Ordinance on Preservation of Living Environment
  • Tsuruoka site : Yamagata Prefecture Ordinance on Preservation of Living Environment

Vibration Suppression

When introducing new specific or designated equipment as required by the Vibration Regulation Law or local ordinances, we carry out vibration simulation calculations at the site boundary. If there is a possibility that regulatory standards may be breached, we carry out actual measurements to confirm this.
