The VP Connectors are designed to be introduced into new defense programs, which require a smaller connector design, increased performance up to 65 GHz, and a low cost solution. These are also well suited for the 40Gbps Optical Communication Market which values the connector's hermeticity and ease of installation.
The VP104F bullet is an adapter designed to provide coaxial interface between modules using the VP and SMPM Connectors. One end of bullet is the Anritsu VP Connector, whereas the second end is a SMPM Connector interface. This adaptor utilizes all the same technical advantages as the regular VP Connector (six slots in outer conductor and four slots in center conductor) therefore, provides equally good insertion/extraction lifetime.
