Web Exhibition Interop2020 - Industry's Smallest Portable 400G Network Tester
Introducing Latest Network Solutions From Interop Tokyo 2020 Exhibition
Stand 1: Industry’s Smallest Portable 400G Network Tester
One unit covers interface speeds from 10M to 400G, supporting installation, start-up, and maintenance of 400G Ethernet networks. Additionally, expanding one unit to a 400G dual-port configuration improves the efficiency of latency measurements required at product development and testing.
Product Line with Three Measurement Module Types
400G Ethernet uses always-on forward error correction (FEC) and the MT1040A measures the error count distribution at each CW to plot the results as a bar graph frequency distribution for evaluating 400G optical module performance and providing powerful support for network transmission margin evaluation.
The Network Master Pro MT1040A is the world's smallest transport tester for 400G Ethernet. With built-in FEC analysis functions for 400G Ethernet as well as automatic test functions, it is the ideal portable tester covering a wide application range from optical module (QSFP-DD, etc.) evaluations to product testing and network installation, startup, and maintenance.
Stand 2: Handheld 100G Transport Tester
The Network Master Pro MT1000A is a transport tester supporting various standards for interface speeds ranging from 10M to 100G. It covers a wide application range, including network installation, startup, and maintenance, as well as product development and manufacturing. With built-in automatic test functions as standard, the labor-reducing automated testing helps increase both test quality and work efficiency.
Stand 3: Evaluating 4K/8K IP Video Transmissions
The Network Master Pro MT1000A supports both IP multicast evaluations (built-in IGMP/MLD host emulation function) and PTP time synchronization evaluation for SMPTE ST 2059-1 profiles to strongly support quality evaluation of IP video streaming circuits.
- IP multicast/IP unicast transmission evaluations (packet loss, jitter, latency) for up to 16ch
- SMPTE ST 2059-1 PTP time synchronization accuracy measurement
Stand 4: Evaluating Low-Latency 5G Networks
Adding the separately sold GPS receiver to the Network Master Pro MT1000A supports time synchronization between MT1000A units, allowing two-way latency measurements. This function demonstrates its usefulness when evaluating low-latency applications used by 5G.
Stand 5: Evaluating Mobile Fronthaul Quality
25G eCPRI Evaluation
With its support for 25G eCPRI, the Network Master Pro MT1000A can evaluate 5G fronthaul network segments and products. Combination with the 100G Multirate Module MU100011A and High Performance GPS Disciplined Oscillator MU100090A enables high-accuracy 25G Ethernet frequency measurements.
25G PTP Evaluation
The Network Master Pro MT1000A supports 25G Ethernet high-accuracy PTP time synchronization measurements. Combination with the 100G Multirate Module MU100011A and High Performance GPS Disciplined Oscillator MU100090A enables high-accuracy 25G Ethernet PTP (ITU-T G.8265.1, G.8275.1 telecom profiles) time synchronization measurements.
The 10G/100G portable Network Master Pro MT1000A tester supports 5G mobile fronthaul 25G eCPRI and PTP evaluations. The automatic test function makes it easy to simulate error operation and eliminate the risk of error evaluation mistakes.

The Access Master MT9085 series combines an OTDR required for evaluating optical lines (SM and MM fiber) with a light source and optical power meter in one unit. The combination of a touch screen with hard keys supports intuitive easy-to-understand operation, and a Fiber Visualizer function offers at-a-glance confirmation of optical fiber connection losses, reflection attenuation, etc., to implement a portable measuring instrument with excellent operability.
