4x1 Multiplexer for Signal Generation of up to 43.5 Gb/s
The MP1801A is the design engineers most preferred 4x1 multiplexer available today. It has 4-channels of parallel data input lines, each of them capable of handling signals at a maximum of 10.875 Gb/s. The MP1801A can multiplex 4 data input signals providing a serial data output of up to 43.5 Gb/s. This MUX unit can be used in combination with any of the Anritsu’s 4-channel Pulse Pattern Generators (MP1758A or MP1775A) for the generation of a single multiplexed serial signal at high speed.
Sophisticated technology incorporated into the MUX unit provides excellent waveform quality with low jitter and low distortion that is essential for testing signals at ultra-high data rates. The MP1801A is part of the Anritsu’s both 43.5G BER Test Systems (ME7750A and ME7760A) which are perfect for accurate evaluation and verification of long-haul, extended long-haul and ultra-long-haul transmission systems, sub-systems, MUX/DEMUX devices and components beyond 40 Gb/s covering FEC, Non-FEC and Super FEC rates up to 43.5 Gb/s.
The compact size of the MP1801A saves on test lab space. Front panel keys allow easy operation of the unit. In current R&D and manufacturing of 40 Gb/s transmission systems, this MP1801A MUX unit is being used in testing optical modules and systems in combination with Anritsu 40G O/E and E/O converters.
