Anritsu has been included in the following indices: the Financial Time Stock Exchange (FTSE) Blossom Japan Index, FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index, MSCI Japan ESG Select Leaders Index, Morningstar Japan ex-REIT Gender Diversity Tilt Index (GenDi J) and S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index of the Japan Government Pension Investment Fund, as described below.
FTSE Blossom Japan Index
This index is designed by the FTSE Russell Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of the London Stock Exchange, to measure the performance of Japanese companies that demonstrate strong ESG practices utilizing an industry-neutral approach to minimize bias by matching weights with those of the underlying index.

FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index
The FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index is another index designed by FTSE Russell that identifies and measures the performance of Japanese companies that demonstrate outstanding ESG practices following the sector-neutral approach to minimize sector bias by matching weights with those of the underlying index.

MSCI Japan ESG Select Leaders Index
This index is created by MSCI, a leading US-based ESG index provider, to identify the best ESG performers relative to their peers in the MSCI Japan Investable Market Index (IMI), which measures the performance of large-, mid-, and small-cap segments in the Japanese market, covering approximately 99% of the free float-adjusted market capitalization in Japan. Overall, the index covers 50% of the parent index, that is, the MSCI Japan ESG Select Leaders Index.

S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index
This ESG index is designed by the US S&P Dow Jones Index, one of the world’s largest independent index providers, and the Tokyo Stock Exchange (part of the Japan Stock Exchange Group) to measure the performance of companies in the Tokyo Stock Price Index (TOPIX) in terms of disclosing environment-related information and levels of carbon efficiency (low levels of carbon emissions per unit of revenue), which helps in determining the overweighting of those companies.

Sompo Sustainability Index
This is a stock index developed by Sompo Asset Management Co., Ltd. (Japan) that combines ESG and stock price evaluations. The index measures companies’ performance based on two types of surveys: one for environmental performance (Sompo Japan green open) and another for ESG management. Anritsu has been included in this index for two consecutive years.

The iSTOXX MUTB Japan Platinum Career 150 Index tracks the performance of 150 Japanese companies that actively contribute to employee career development.

Evaluation by CDP
CDP gathers information on the environmental impacts of major companies worldwide based on its questionnaires and analyzes and evaluates their responses.
A- Leadership score recognized by CDP in 2022
Anritsu was evaluated by the international nonprofit organization, CDP as having attained an A-: Leadership level for the year 2022 for climate change, indicating the company’s ambitions and practices in environmental management.
CDP’s Supplier Engagement Leader for three consecutive years
Anritsu has been recognized as a supplier engagement leader in 2022 for the third year in a row. CDP aims to increase buyer engagement to accelerate action on emissions in global supply chains.
Organizations’ supplier engagement is evaluated based on responses to questions in four key areas of the CDP climate change questionnaire related to governance, targets, ambition, management (Scope 3), and supplier engagement. High performers are awarded the title of Supplier Engagement Leader.
Excellent Enterprise of Health and Productivity Management 2023
Anritsu was selected as one of the top 500 companies, called the White 500, from among 2,676 companies in 2023 in the large enterprise category of Excellent Enterprise of Health and Productivity Management 2023, established by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and certified by the Japan Health Council. This recognition is conferred on companies with outstanding engagement in health and productivity management. This is the fifth time that Anritsu was selected as a White 500 company for this category.
Kurumin Certification
Anritsu has been certified by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare under the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children, which recognizes companies that support balancing work and childcare. In addition to the 2015 and 2018 awards, Anritsu received this certification in 2020, acquiring three stars, indicating that the company has received this certification three times.
Kanagawa Support Care Company Certification
This certification is given to companies that support their employees’ balance of work and caregiving for the elderly by Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.
Anritsu has been certified in 2019.
