Anritsu Company Launches Series of Blogs Discussing Wireless Trends

Industry Test Leader Publishing Educational Blogs Focusing on High-frequency VNAs, PIM, and Public Safety Networks

Anritsu Company is sponsoring a series of market-related blogs designed to serve as an educational resource for engineers and technicians in the wireless communications industry. The blogs – VNA Reflections, PIM Source, and Solid Signals – are written by well-respected industry leaders who share their experiences and discuss trends in wireless communications.

The goal of VNA Reflections is to discuss leading trends in vector network analysis, emerging Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) applications, fundamentals of VNA measurements, and technological advances in VNAs. Blog entries focus on topics such as on-wafer measurements, calibration techniques, advances in VNAs to meet high-frequency signal integrity designs, as well as general-interest VNA topics.

Two other blogs focus on the deployment, installation, and maintenance of commercial and public safety wireless networks. PIM Source discusses challenges in locating and testing Passive Intermodulation (PIM) in the field, fundamentals of PIM measurements, and methods of preventing and/or eliminating PIM in cellular networks. Solid Signals focuses on trends and news in land mobile and specialized mobile radio technology, land mobile radio (LMR) spectrum policy, public safety, and commercial radio technologies.

"High-frequency device characterization, measuring PIM in the field, and the evolution of public safety networks are three of the most talked-about segments in the wireless market. Our educational blogs were developed to create a forum for professionals to learn more about key trends in these areas and offer tips on how to meet the associated challenges," said Donn Mulder, Vice President and General Manager, Anritsu Company, Microwave Measurement Division.

All three blogs can be accessed by the Anritsu blog directory.
