PIM Measurement Training Course Offered by Anritsu Company
Course Teaches Installers, Field Engineers, Site Managers, and Professionals from Tower Companies, Wireless Carriers, and Base Station OEMs how to Make PIM Measurements
Anritsu Company has launched its PIM Master™ PIM Measurement Training Course that is designed to teach installers, field engineers, site managers, and professionals from tower companies, wireless carriers, and base station OEMs how to accurately and efficiently conduct Passive Intermodulation (PIM) measurements. The one-day, instructor-led course is split between theory and hands-on lab sessions to teach attendees how to locate PIM, conduct measurements, and interpret results.
Attendees will learn from experienced, trained instructors for the first half of the course. During the second half of the day, attendees will be part of a hands-on lab, where they will connect the equipment, confirm proper operation, measure PIM, and troubleshoot faults in a given cable transmission line. A written exam on PIM theory and safety is also given. Attendees will have a thorough understanding of PIM and how to measure it, as well as receive a certificate of completion at the end of the day.
PIM training courses can be easily scheduled months in advance and held at convenient locations. Courses can also be tailored to meet company requirements and include techniques that are of particular importance to their operations.
