Anritsu Company, a global provider of test solutions, announces three of its test solutions have been named finalists in the prestigious Best in Test Awards competition, held annually by UBM Tech’s Test & Measurement World. The MP1800A BERT Signal Quality Analyzer (SQA), VectorStar ME7838A broadband vector network analyzer (VNA), and MG3710A vector signal generator were selected by the editors of Test & Measurement World as important and innovative new products in the electronics test and measurement industry.

Winners will be announced during the Best in Test 2013 Awards ceremony on January 31, 2013 during a ceremony held in the Chiphead Theater in conjunction with DesignCon 2013, which takes place January 28-31, 2013 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California.

The VectorStar ME7838A, a finalist in the RF/microwave test category, features best-in-class performance. The broadband system provides R&D engineers designing 4-port or differential mm-wave components with the ability to sweep power across a wide range of frequencies from 70 kHz to 125 GHz in a single sweep, and up to 750 GHz using external mm-wave modules without the need for manual attenuators or software feedback control.
A finalist in the signal integrity/high-speed test category, the MP1800A has 28G/32G multi-channel modules that bring unprecedented performance and analysis to engineers designing, developing and evaluating high-speed interconnect interfaces up to 32.1 Gbit/s. It is well suited for DP-QPSK 100G long haul applications where four synchronized PPGs with precise skew control are required, as well as to accurately measure jitter tolerance and X-talk on high-speed backplanes and interconnects.
The MG3710A vector signal generators reduce operating costs and increase production yield by eliminating the need for multiple instruments. Its unique design allows the MG3710A to generate test signals based on all leading technologies, including LTE, LTE Advanced, W-CDMA/HSPA, CDMA2000, GSM and PDC, as well as WLAN, Bluetooth®, and ISDB-T.
