Anritsu Company, a worldwide leader in LTE test solutions, announces that its ME7834 Mobile Device Test Platform, BTS Master and Cell Master handheld analyzers have made the finalist list for the LTE North America Awards 2011. The test solutions are finalists in the Best Network/Device Testing Products for LTE, one of ten categories that comprise the awards. Winners will be announced during the LTE North America Awards Dinner on November 8, 2011 in Dallas.
Anritsu is one of only five test companies to be shortlisted in the respective category. Anritsu is also one of only two companies who received multiple nominations in any of the ten categories that comprise the award competition.
"Anritsu made a significant commitment to LTE from the early development stages of the technology. We are proud to have introduced a number of firsts in terms of LTE test solutions," said Wade Hulon, Vice President and General Manager, Anritsu Americas. "To be shortlisted in the LTE North America Awards 2011 is an achievement, as well as a testament to the hard work and ingenuity of everyone at Anritsu."
Independently judged by an operator-led panel, the LTE North America Awards are a celebration of growth and success across the globe. Recognized as a showcase for "all that's best" in communications, winners and shortlisted companies benefit from a mark of innovation and leadership.
The ME7834A/L Mobile Device Test Platform is a scalable system for protocol conformance and carrier acceptance testing of 2G, 3G, and 4G/LTE wireless technologies. Wireless device OEMs, carriers, test houses, and other elements of the device ecosystem are able to use this system to quickly and easily determine a device’s conformance to 3GPP and carrier-specific standards.
Integrated "best-in-class" signaling testers for LTE, UTRAN/GERAN, and CDMA2000 technologies allow the ME7834A/L to offer excellent platform flexibility, including simulation of inter-RAT handovers, complex cell selection environments, high-speed throughput, and mobility with fading. Additionally, the choice of test case programming and execution environments, including the graphical Rapid Test Designer (RTD) software, and TTCN3-based Protocol Conformance Test (PCT) software, allow the ME7834A/L to easily adapt to end-user requirements.
BTS Master is a high-performance base station analyzer designed to support 4G standards and installed 2G/3G networks. It provides a 20 MHz demodulation capability to support LTE bandwidths from 1.4 to 20 MHz, and features a 30 MHz Zero-Span IF Output for external demodulation of virtually any other wideband signal.
Cell Master is the smallest, lightest, and most economical solution for 2G/3G/4G base station transmitter testing. The analyzer’s optimal combination of base station test capabilities in one handheld device eliminates the need for several independent test instruments, thereby reducing the number of tools the user must carry and learn to operate.
