Anritsu Company Expands Training Class Program

Award-Winning Courses Provide Valuable Learning Experience
to Installers, Tower Companies, Carriers, Field Engineers,
Site Managers, and Base Station OEMs

Anritsu Company has added two courses to its award-winning Anritsu Training that are designed to help wireless professionals make Passive Intermodulation (PIM) measurements and maximize the life of their Anritsu handheld test equipment. The two courses – as are all the training classes offered by Anritsu – are designed to help installers, tower companies, carriers, field engineers, site managers, and base station OEMs most efficiently deploy, install, and maintain wireless networks.

The specialized PIM Master™ Certified PIM Measurement Training Course is a one-day, instructor-led class that focuses on most effectively performing PIM measurements. Attendees learn the technical aspects of setting up and conducting PIM measurements, how to interpret results and locate the PIM, as well as see examples of the most effective ways to perform tests. Following the format of other Anritsu Training courses, the PIM Training Course is approximately a 50/50 split between lectures and labs. Simulations are created in labs that closely emulate real-life applications to enhance the learning experience.

Anritsu is also now offering a Protecting Performance eLearning course that is designed to help attendees take care of their handheld unit connectors. This online course provides training on maximizing the life of handheld test equipment, such as the Site Master™ cable and antenna analyzers, calibration components and power sensors. Attendees learn how to protect test equipment from damage, thereby saving time and money.

Anritsu offers training at various locations across the USA and some international locations. Classes can also be held at a customer location. Other training courses available include Certified Line Sweeping, Interference Analysis, LMR Measurements, Base Station Testing (LTE, CDMA, and WCDMA), Spectrum Analysis, and WiMAX.
