Anritsu to Showcase LTE Test Technology at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona

Anritsu will be conducting live LTE tests of devices and networks at its stand (1B31) at the Mobile World Congress, February 15-18 in Barcelona. The leader in LTE test will also be holding discussions on the activities and trends within the testing community at the exposition, which is attended by mobile operators, vendors and content owners from across the world.
LTE T&M Solutions from R&D to Field Installation
With the launching of LTE networks as a key theme in the industry, Anritsu will showcase the various tools required to help be certain of the network quality and coverage that customers will experience in live networks. This includes LTE mobile device testing and certification solutions that enable reliable performance and global roaming, as well as LTE field test tools to ensure the coverage and performance of base station installations.
In addition, the latest W-CDMA handset test solutions and the world’s leading base station RF test equipment will be shown. This will include demonstrations of the TD-SCDMA standard that is deployed in China, and the TD-LTE version of LTE that is being promoted in a number of markets.
Alongside the range of live demonstrations, Anritsu will have its industry experts available for discussion and explanation of the wireless test and industry trends, and review of the current state of LTE. Anritsu has recognized the importance of collaborating with the whole industry from bringing 3G technology to market, and company representatives can discuss how Anritsu has prepared its portfolio based on this collaboration. Anritsu will be showing and discussing the activities for device certification in bodies such as the Global Certification Forum (GCF) and PCS Type Certification Review Board (PTCRB), standardization work within 3GPP, and requirements setting within the Next Generation Mobile Networks (NGMN) alliance.
Service Intelligence Taken to a New Level
With Customer Experience Management playing a greater role in today’s Service Assurance, Anritsu will announce new products to enhance operators’ capabilities to monitor and troubleshoot subscribers’ perceived quality. New products will include a radio access performance tool, and solutions to measure and improve GSM, UMTS and LTE service quality.
With MasterClaw Quality, users enjoy a new approach of passive monitoring that provides network performance reports (by region or vendors, weekly or trend) on radio access network. This Key Performance Indicators (KPI) monitoring tool analyzes logfiles from network elements and radio measurements regardless of network elements vendor.
