Tell me more…Learn how wide-band VNAs incorporate non-linear transmission lines (also known as shock lines) to generate short pulses at microwave and millimeter wave frequencies. These short pulse waveforms are used in the VNA receivers to sample the stimulus and response signals. The NLTLs are also used as harmonic generators to frequency-multiply the internal VNA signals that are used for both the stimulus source and receiver local oscillator.
