Anritsu Cares Program Supports Local Elk Grove Village Community
Throughout the months of November and December, the Anritsu Cares Program supported the local community of Elk Grove Village by donating new, unwrapped toys for the Toys for Tots program. Founded in 1947 by reservist Major Bill Hendricks, the Toys for Tots program sponsored by the United States Marine Corps provides millions of toys for children during the Holiday season.
Our Anritsu Cares Program works to support the local community that we both live and work in. Elk Grove Township has a motto of “Empowering People Through Community” which is a motto shared by our Anritsu Cares Program. This year, we challenged our employees to help give back to the community and they certainly delivered.
Michael Sweeney, Elk Grove Township Supervisor, “[the] donation will be distributed to local in-need children in Elk Grove Township. Many of the families we serve at the Township have fallen on difficult times due to illness, loss of a job or just not enough income to cover monthly living expenses. You have helped to make the children’s lives in these situations a little brighter and enjoyable because they can now have some fun in playing with their new toys.”
The Anritsu Cares Program is an internal team at Anritsu Infivis that works to give back to the community in various ways throughout the year. Our aim is to give back to a community that supports our business in an effort to create a better community for all who live and work here.
