Anritsu Company Renews Open Sponsorship

While the golf course may be silent out of respect for the golfing greats, there is a lot of chatter about the Anritsu Company's sponsorship renewal for the 2012 Open. This PGA TOUR tournament was held at CordeValle in San Martin, Calif. from Thurs., Oct. 11 until the final round occurred on Sun., Oct. 14. Jonas Blixt shot 16-under par to win the tournament by one stroke, and took home $900,000 for winning.

The Open PGA TOUR tournament is in its seventh year, and was established to help make a significant impact upon the community through charitable donations. More than $4 million has been raised for charity over the past seven years. Proceeds from the 2012 tournament benefited the American Institute of Mathematics (AIM), a non-profit in Palo Alto, Calif., as well as several other organizations.

Donn Mulder, Anritsu Senior VP and General Manager of the Microwave Measurements Division, was proud Anritsu could serve as a sponsor for the third consecutive year. Anritsu Company is the American subsidiary of Anritsu Corporation, a global provider of innovative communications test and measurement solutions for more than 110 years. Anritsu Industrial Solutions USA, Inc., a subsidiary of Anritsu Industrial Solutions Co., Ltd., is proud of the Anritsu Company's involvement in the Open because this tournament has such a positive impact on the community. All of the Anritsu Group companies extend a handshake of appreciation for Anritsu Company's sponsorship.
