Indonesia BBPPT Setup the 1st National 5G Regulatory Test Lab with Anritsu Testing Solutions

Vienna, Austria – July 29th, 2022 – Anritsu Corporation is pleased to work with Indonesia Balai Besar Pengujian Perangkat Telekomunikasi (BBPPT), the national test lab that refers to Regulation set by Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Kominfo), to setup Indonesia first national 5G Regulatory Test Lab. This marks a new milestone for Indonesia in advancing to new era of telecommunication, while BBPPT continue to play important role to ensure safety and quality assurance of communication devices in Indonesia by testing and verifying conformity of 5G equipment to Indonesia Regulatory requirements.  

BBPPT has setup both 5G UE (User Equipment) testing capability and gNodeB testing capability. Anritsu 5G Radio Communication Test Station solution (MT8000A and MT8821C) provide a stable, reliable, and automated 5G NSA/SA (Non-standalone/Standalone) testing environment for 5G UE, while multi-functional Vector Signal Generator MG3710E and wide analysis bandwidth Spectrum Analyzer MS2850A enable BBPPT to test and verify gNodeB.
