Anritsu Introduces TD-SCDMA Test Options for Radio Communications Analyzers
New Hardware and Software Extend Measurement Capability of MT8820B/MT8815B for Accurate Analysis of TD-SCDMA Mobile Terminals
Anritsu Company introduces three options for its MT8820B/MT8815B Radio Communication Analyzers that allow for fast and efficient testing of TD-SCDMA 3G mobile terminals. The MT8820B-007/MT8815B-007 TD-SCDMA Measurement Hardware, MX882007C TD-SCDMA Measurement Software, and MX882007C-001 TD-SCDMA Voice Codec options complement the inherent testing advantages of the MT8820B/MT8815B analyzers to provide manufacturers with a fast, accurate, and efficient test tool for conducting call-processing, RF Rx/Tx, and voice tests of TD-SCDMA mobile terminals.
The MT8820B/MT8815B have basic TD-SCDMA functions built-in, making it the ideal platform for call-processing and RF Tx/Rx tests of TD-SCDMA mobiles. The MT8820B/MT8815B also incorporate TD-SCDMA/GSM dual-mode test functions. Additionally, the MT8820B has a unique Parallelphone measurement function that supports simultaneous testing of two mobile units, making the analyzer the perfect solution for mass-production of TD-SCDMA/GSM dual-mode mobile phones.
When the MT8820B/MT8815B-001 W-CDMA Measurement Hardware, MT8820B/MT8815B-007 TD-SCDMA Measurement Hardware, and MX882007C TD-SCDMA Measurement Software are installed in the MT8820B/MT8815B, call-processing and high-speed, high-accuracy RF Tx/Rx tests of TD-SCDMA mobile terminals can be performed easily. In addition, adding the MX882007C-001 TD-SCDMA Voice Codec to the existing MT8820B-011/MT8815B-011 audio board supports end-to-end communications and audio tests to evaluate voice quality during the mobile terminal development phase.In addition to conducting TD-SCDMA measurements, the MT8820B/MT8815B verify performance of mobile terminals utilizing other technologies. Covering a frequency range of 30 MHz to 2.7 GHz, a single MT8820B can measure the major Tx and Rx characteristics of W-CDMA/HSDPA, GSM/GPRS/EGPRS, CDMA2000R 1X (IS-2000), CDMA2000 1xEV-DO, and PHS/ADVANCED PHS terminals. It has dual independent RF, AF, GPIB, and Ethernet connectors that can be controlled separately, significantly improving manufacturing efficiency by reducing production costs and space.
The MT8815B is a multi-system service test platform that covers W-CDMA, GSM/GPRS/EGPRS, cdma2000R 1x/1xEV-DO, and AMPS with just one unit. This platform supports detailed failure diagnosis and evaluation of all the main mobile phone transmission/reception test items.
