High-Reliability ITS/V2X Test Solution
Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) are expected to bring a variety of social benefits, such as safer road transport and reduced environmental damage, through configuration of systems integrating people, road networks, and vehicles by using high-level data communications technologies. The key ITS element called vehicle-to-everything (V2X) not only covers vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I), but also includes vehicle-to-pedestrian (V2P) and vehicle-to-network (V2N) communications as well.
Although the first ITS were based on narrowband communications (DSRC), specifications have evolved and now follow 3GPP-defined standards, such as C-V2X and 5G-based cellular communications methods, requiring both technology tests and certification tests. As a result, test workloads and costs are increasing due to increasing numbers of supported communications technologies as well as the need for on-road testing.
Development and evaluation of ITS requires laboratory tests, which have some limitations, prior to on-road testing of actual equipment. These laboratory tests help discover and solve any issues, improving the efficiency of post-production field evaluations and helping save time and money. Signal Analyzer MS2830A
The MS2830A Signal Analyzer is designed for measuring 2G/3G/LTE/WLAN/V2X (IEEE 802.11p) systems. In addition to measuring modulation characteristics, it can also measure Tx characteristics, such as adjacent channel leakage power, spectrum masks, etc., while having the while dynamic range required for spurious measurement.
The signal capture and replay functions help assure product quality by supporting accurate comparison of simulated design and actual performance.
