Anritsu Company announces that its popular, award-winning web-based Site Master™ Line Sweep eLearning course is available to registered users at no cost on http://www.us.anritsu.com/Training course, which is 3-4 hours long, is an excellent way for field technicians to prepare for the instructor-led Certified Line Sweep course offered by Anritsu, as well to introduce technicians to line sweeping techniques.
In addition to offering the class at no charge, Anritsu now provides it in both English and Chinese. It provides training on the basics of line sweeping and operation of the Site Master cable and antenna analyzer, the de facto industry standard. A virtual Site Master is featured with an operational front panel, and a working virtual display and keypad so attendees can virtually use the instrument. Attendees will learn the technical aspects of line sweeping; how to set up a line sweep; how cable length, cable type, and system components affect line sweep measurements; how to use Distance To Fault (DTF) to get accurate and meaningful DTF results; and how to identify, locate, document and resolve cable line transmission faults.
To attend the eLearning course, participants simply have to register online. The course can be watched immediately after registration. Participants can view the course as many times as necessary over a 30-day period.
