Morgan Hill, CA – July 13, 2017 – Anritsu Company announces that it has expanded its OTDR Certification training class to include the best practices and procedures for CPRI site turn-up testing, as well as hands-on Network Master Pro™ MT1000A training. Developed to address the testing requirements associated with today’s LTE networks, the instructor-led, one-day course has new content so contractors can efficiently perform CPRI site turn-up testing to help ensure network performance meets established KPIs.
The Fiber Optic, OTDR & CPRI Certification training class is tailored to meet the specific needs of CPRI site turn-up crews, as well as wireless carriers, base station OEMs, tower companies, field engineers, installers, and site managers. A comprehensive curriculum includes small form-factor pluggable (SFP), VIP (or Scope), Loopback and RRU/A2 Initialization testing to help attendees correctly complete a project on the first site visit to avoid costly rework and unnecessary crew deployments. In addition to the CPRI-based training, the intensive course is maintaining its focus on fiber optic and OTDR theory, technology and practical applications.
Anritsu is one of the first test and measurement manufacturers to offer certified CPRI training. Attendees will gain valuable fiber optic test skills, and learn proper optical connector cleaning and inspection techniques. They will also become familiar with the handheld Network Mater Pro MT1000A and Anritsu OTDR test solutions.
Public classes are now available and can be found on the Anritsu Training and Education page. Private sessions can be conducted on a per-inquiry basis and subject to instructor availability. The Fiber Optic, OTDR & CPRI Certification training class is one of several educational courses and other resources offered by Anritsu Company to help communications professionals perform their jobs more efficiently and effectively.
