Anritsu Supports 8 MHz ISDB-T Channel Bandwidths
In Japan and South America, where the ISDB-T digital television technology has been adopted, the transmitted channel bandwidth is 6 Megahertz. Recently, that technology was adapted for much of the rest of the world utilizing an 8 Megahertz channel configuration.
The technology is in place. Now you need test and measurement equipment to support the system trials, installation and commissioning.
Anritsu proudly offers support for 8 Megahertz ISDB-T measurements on its range of digital television handheld analyzers. In fact, we are the only equipment provider with this capability.
Measurements include: Channel Power, Field Strength, and Modulation Analysis including full constellation mapping of all 3 hierarchical layers with TMCC signaling, plus… the sub-carrier modulation error ratio across the whole bandwidth.
Delay profile views discriminate any multi-path echo signals over a wide and zoomed-in range, conveniently color-coded by guard interval for quick analysis.
So now, wherever ISDB-T may be used, Anritsu is already there.
