This Measurement Guide documents 3GPP signal analysis for the following Anritsu instruments: BTS Master, Cell Master, Spectrum Master, and LMR Master. P/N: 10580-00234
The BTS Master User Guide is part of a set of manuals that describe all of the instrument
functions and their use. This manual covers the instrument overview, system functions and
other common features, along with a brief guide to basic measurement concepts and setups. P/N: 10580-00366
The MT8220T BTS Master is the only
all-in-one, touchscreen handheld tool that combines cable and antenna testing, signal analysis for all cellular standards,
ultra-sensitive spectrum analysis, sophisticated interference tracking, and a vector signal generator for receiver testing in
a compact, easy-to-use instrument. P/N: 11410-00698
With the large increase in mobile data traffic, network operators are moving the BBU (BaseBand Units) from macro cell sites to a common central location allowing greater flexibility and cost savings. The connection from the BBU to the RRH (Remote Radio Head) is most commonly via CPRI at rates between 614.4 kbps to 10,137.6 Mbps. P/N: 11410-00927
This two page quick fact sheet outlines the key specifications, standard accessories and options available for the BTS Master. P/N: 11410-00723
The BTS Master features over 30 analyzers in one to meet virtually every measurement need. P/N: 11410-00717
Anritsu is the leader of high frequency microwave connector technology and is driven by an ongoing commitment to exceed customer needs. Anritsu created and trademarked the K Connector with coverage to 40 GHz, along with a complete family of 40 GHz test equipment. It was an immediate success and today is used on many commercial components, test fixtures, and
defense systems. P/N: 11410-00235
This 2 page product flyer shows the key features of PIM over CPRI. P/N: 11410-01089
This SCPI Programming Manual provides information for remote operation of the MT8220T
High Performance Base Station Analyzer using commands sent from an external controller
via Ethernet or USB connection. P/N: 10580-00367
PIM over CPRI is Anritsu's new patented technology that enables users to make PIM measurements on a live system at ground level by monitoring regular LTE traffic carried by an optical fiber connection. By tapping into the CPRI data on the downlink and uplink between the remote radio head (RRH) and baseband unit (BBU), the BTS Master MT8220T base station analyzer can calculate the PIM desensitization of the LTE uplink. P/N: 11410-01078
This measurement guide describes the Common Public Radio Interface (CPRI) analyzer test
and measurement functions of Anritsu RF and Microwave Handheld Instruments. P/N: 10580-00415
This comparison chart offers a quick overview of the different tests to perform and which analyzer to use to perform those tests. P/N: 11410-00555
Poster showcasing the RF and Microwave Handheld analyzers options. Features Cable and Antenna Analyzers, Base Station Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers, and PIM Analyzers. P/N: 11410-00571
This Measurement Guide describes the test and measurement functions of Anritsu RF and
Microwave Handheld Instruments. Basic spectrum analyzer functions are included with most
Anritsu handheld instruments.
Transport, Optical & RF Testing for all Elements of the C-RAN Network.
Anritsu has a long history of testing all aspects of the C-RAN. Our instruments evolve to meet the new challenges of testing the C-RAN
networks being rolled out today. Put our experience to work for you!
The purpose of an in-building wireless (IBW) system is to provide enhanced network coverage
and/or capacity when the existing macro network is not able to adequately service the
demand. Coverage may be poor due to high penetration losses caused by the building
structure or due to low emissivity glass installed to improve the thermal performance of the building. In dense urban environments, adjacent buildings may create an RF barrier that blocks coverage from nearby macro sites. Tall buildings typically have poor coverage on
upper floors since macro site antennas, many floors below, are specifically designed to
suppress energy radiating above the horizon. Capacity may be an issue in venues such as
stadiums, coliseums and convention centers where many thousands of users may be trying to
simultaneously access the network.

PIM Hunter, a passive intermodulation test probe, helps field technicians more quickly discover the precise location of external PIM sources at cell sites. The PIM Hunter test probe enables field professionals to use traditional interference hunting techniques to accurately locate external PIM sources for optimum wireless network performance.
This solution brochure covers the four steps to success when interference hunting, as well as which Anritsu product/solution is suitable for each step in the process.
