Tech focus for investors


   In August of 2005, Anritsu Corporation acquired all outstanding shares of NetTest, which is known for its unrivalled network monitoring optical and digital measuring device technology, bringing the company into the Anritsu Group as Anritsu A/S. Here we'll briefly examine what this acquisition brings to Anritsu in terms of technology and business.

  Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, Anritsu A/S employs about 500 people at its global business and sales offices that are equipped for research, with locations in Germany, France, Italy, the US and China. Clients from a broad spectrum of the world's major telecommunications carriers and system manufacturers value the company's highly sought-after monitoring solutions, which are backed by the company's vaunted protocol analysis technology. The company is second globally in wireless network monitoring market share.

  Anritsu possesses high speed digital, optical, RF/microwave, mobile communications protocol and IP technologies. Its strength lies mainly in the measurement and inspection of parts and devices used in communications systems.

The InterQuest Analyzer contributes to the optimization and troubleshooting of network services and to the smooth startup of new services.

Instrument Business

 

Provides instruments and systems best suited to the installation and maintenance of cutting edge optical and digital networks.
The CMA5000 is equipped to handle measurement of everything from the physical layer to the data link, network and transmission layer.
