Anritsu Company Network Master™ Platform Recognized as Top Product in Annual BTR Diamond Technology Reviews

11/11/2015

Innovative Optical Transport Field Test Solutions Deemed to be ‘Excellent’ with Features and Performance that Provide Clear and Substantial Benefits

Richardson, TX – November 11, 2015

Anritsu Company announces its MT1000A Network Master™ Pro / MT1100A Network Master™ Flex platform has earned a 4.0 score in the 11th annual Diamond Technology Reviews conducted by Broadband Technology Report (BTR). In earning the high mark, the MT1000A/MT1100A were deemed to be excellent products with technical features and performance that provide clear and substantial benefits.

The BTR Diamond Technology Reviews is a technology program that recognizes companies serving the broadband cable industry. A panel consisting of ten cable telecommunications experts evaluated all submissions and graded each based on criteria that included unique technology or application thereof, innovation, ease of use, efficiency, reliability, and contribution to profitability. At least three judges evaluated each submission.

“Today’s communication networks are becoming more sophisticated as network operators integrate new and legacy technologies, such as OTN, MPLS-TP, and Ethernet, and must support various data rates from 1.5 Mbps up to 100 Gbps. The high score achieved in the BTR Diamond Technology Reviews verifies that the Network Master series redefines field test platforms by bringing these network test requirements together in a single, portable device,” said Paul Innis, Vice President and General Manager of Anritsu America Sales Region.

The MT1000A/MT1100A platform addresses the need for an all-in-one portable test solution that can support both new and legacy technologies and can scale to network capabilities and data rates. It consists of complete transport testers for client interfaces, such as Ethernet, SONET/SDH, Fibre Channel and DSn, as well as emerging MPLS, PBB-TE and ITU-T G.709 OTN networks from 1.5 Mbps to 100 Gbps. The platform can map Ethernet, Fibre Channel, CPRI and SDH/SONET client signals onto OTN under near-to-live conditions to support faster deployment and troubleshooting.

The BTR Diamond Technology Reviews acknowledgement is the most recent industry recognition for the MT1000A/MT1100A. The Network Master platform also earned a Lightwave Innovation Award earlier this year.
