Anritsu, Teledyne LeCroy to Demonstrate Test Solution for Signal Integrity Engineers Developing High-speed Channels at DesignCon 2015

MP1800A BERT and LabMaster 10 Zi Oscilloscope Help Engineers Rapidly Understand Channel’s Signal Integrity Performance

Anritsu Company (booth #717) announces that it will collaborate with Teledyne LeCroy (booth #735) to demonstrate a highly accurate test solution for signal integrity analysis on high-speed channels during DesignCon 2015, to be held January 28-29 in Santa Clara, CA. The two leading test companies will host a technical session on the topic, as well as conduct booth demonstrations on how to successfully develop high-speed channels using 32G NRZ and PAM-4 waveform generation and jitter analysis.

In the demonstrations, waveforms with various impairments, such as random jitter (RJ) and sinusoidal jitter (SJ), and with transmitter equalization will be generated by the Anritsu MP1800A BERT, in either NRZ or PAM-4 formats with symbol rates up to 32 Gbaud. The Teledyne LeCroy LabMaster 10 Zi oscilloscope will acquire the signals and perform a fast multi-lane comparison of the jitter. The technical session will be held at 9:20 a.m. and 2:50 p.m. on January 29 in the Great American 2 ballroom.

MP1800A BERT Signal Quality Analyzer
Modular in design, the MP1800A incorporates a Pulse Pattern Generator (PPG) for generating the highest-quality, highest-amplitude signals in the industry, as well as an Error Detector (ED) with high input sensitivity to support signal analyses, including burst pattern, Bathtub Jitter and EYE Diagram measurements. Various types of jitter, including SJ, RJ, BUJ and SSC, can be generated using the built-in jitter modulation source to support device Jitter Tolerance tests.
