Test Leader Now a Member of CCF and will Work with Network Operators, and Chipset and Device Manufacturers to Advance Wireless Technologies

Anritsu Company (CTIA Booth #2234) announces that it has become a member of the CCF (CDMA Certification Forum), a global non-profit organization dedicated to establishing test efficiency to streamline time to market and minimize costs associated with CDMA device certification. As a member of CCF, Anritsu will be actively involved with network operators, and chipset and device manufacturers in developing solutions that will help advance wireless technologies.

“It has been part of Anritsu’s charter for 110 years to be actively involved in organizations that further the development of communications technologies. We welcome the opportunity to be part of a forum with other market leaders, so that we can work together to advance new products that will serve the industry and consumers,” said Wade Hulon, Vice President and General Manager of Anritsu Company.

"We are delighted to have Anritsu join the CCF and take part in the ongoing initiatives the CCF develops to optimize CDMA device certification cycles" says Bruce Jolly, CCF General Manager.

As a CCF member, Anritsu will have an active role in discussions that address critical industry issues and help provide solutions for the future. Company representatives will also participate in the creation of new certification standards and interact with leading developers of wireless technologies.

Anritsu has been a leader in CDMA test and measurement equipment since the early stages of the technology. The company offers customers solutions that can validate the performance of CDMA products at the design, manufacturing, and installation and maintenance stages.

The CCF is a partnership of CDMA vendors and operators worldwide that has established and maintains a single core global device certification process. The CCF process allows quick and affordable certification of devices so they meet prescribed international performance requirements. This process improves quality through consistent interoperability, signaling conformance, and performance testing. For more details, visit the CCF Web site at www.globalccf.org.
