Spectrum Analysis

This is a series of online courses that provide training on the basics of spectrum analysis. They are beginner level courses. A virtual spectrum analyzer is included and is used for virtual labs in a demonstration of key concepts. Narration (in English), closed captioning and quizzes are also available within the courses.

 

These courses are offered at no charge. All that is required is to register using the links provided at the bottom of each page. Registration provides access for 30 days and students can view the modules as often as necessary.

This is the first in a series of online training modules providing information on the basics of spectrum analysis. Module 1 introduces underlying concepts and vocabulary in RF technology, and provides an overview of Spectrum Analyzer features and applications.

This is the second in a series of online training modules providing information on the basics of spectrum analysis. Module 2 describes fundamental principles of antennas, sending and receiving RF signals, and types of modulation.

This is the third in a series of online training modules providing information on the basics of spectrum analysis. Module 3 explains the Superheterodyne Receiver Principle and how it applies to User Defined Settings in Spectrum Analysis.

This is the fourth in a series of online training modules providing information on the basics of spectrum analysis. Module 4 teaches the use of Markers and Limit Lines.

This is the fifth in a series of online training modules providing information on the basics of spectrum analysis. Module 5 demonstrates Trace and Sweep functions of the Spectrum Analyzer and explains their practical applications.

This is the sixth in a series of online training modules providing information on the basics of spectrum analysis.
