Line Sweep Tools (LST) Overview
Anritsu Line Sweep Tools (LST) is the latest generation of Handheld Software Tools. This PC based post-processing software efficiently manipulates line sweep and PIM traces for reporting purposes.

Line Sweep Tools enables users to quickly:
- Collect traces from the instruments
- Verify that the traces are correct using markers and limit lines
- Report results in industry accepted PDF and DAT file format
Capabilities in Line Sweep Tools include:
- Marker and limit line presets
- File name, trace name, and sub-title renaming grids
- Automated report generation
- Compatibility with Dual Trace mode
- PIM and Distance to PIM trace reporting capability
These enhancements will dramatically reduce time spent working with traces and preparing reports.
Line Sweep Tools is available as a free download from Anritsu.
Line Sweep Tools Update v1.30
Line Sweep Tools v1.30 adds these new features:
- When double-clicking on trace files, all traces now open in the same instance of Line Sweep Tools
- Users can set the colors of the background, text, and traces
- Users can select black and white, or color, while printing
- Marker and limit line presets can now be saved and recalled. Names will pop-up with a mouse-over
- Printer setups are now persistent. Set them once and forget them
- GPS information now displays in the parameter section of all trace types, if present
- It is much easier to change distance scaling between feet and meters
Supported Instruments and Trace Types
The supported instrument list has expanded to include the B and C series Site Masters as shown in the table below.
* For these instruments, the Smith Chart is created by LST from other traces.
Line Sweep Tools can also make use of HHST files captured by the discontinued “A” series Site Masters.

PC Requirements
To install and run the Anritsu Tool Box and Line Sweep Tools download on a personal computer, the PC must:
- Run one of these operating systems:
- Windows XP, Service Pack 2 or higher
- Windows Vista (32 bit or 64 bit)
- Windows 7 (32 bit or 64 bit)
- Have at least 1.0 GB of RAM
- Have at least 500 MB of available hard disk space
